Jerry Falade is a Nigerian crime thriller novelist. His debut manuscript, Call Me, I’ll Hide the Body, sparked a 14-publisher auction in the United States, culminating in a multimillion-dollar winning bid. The manuscript was acquired in a six-figure deal following a multi-house auction in the U.K. It was also auctioned in Germany, and the Ukrainian rights were acquired.

Falade earned his MA from Ruhr University Bochum in Germany, where his research examined gender and race as structural factors affecting recidivism in the United States. He is currently a doctoral researcher at Southern Methodist University, where his work focuses on portrayals of Black masculinity and mental health in African American and African diasporic literature.
